Englisch an der Sekundarschule Marsberg

Das Fach Englisch ist ein Hauptfach und wird im Jahrgang 5,6,7 (1. Halbjahr), 9 und 10 dreistündig unterrichtet. Im Jahrgang 7 (2. Halbjahr) und 8 sind es 2 Wochenstunden.

Englisch ist eine Fremdsprache – daher stehen die folgenden Kompetenzen im Mittelpunkt jeder Unterrichtseinheit: Reading, Listening, Speaking und Writing.

Die Leistungsbewertung besteht zu 50% aus den schriftlichen Leistungen, die anderen 50% werden aus der sonstigen Mitarbeit ermittelt. Dazu gehören Vokabeltests (10%), mündliche Mitarbeit, Projekte, Gruppenarbeiten, Präsentationen etc. Eine Klassenarbeit kann in jedem Jahrgang durch eine mündliche Prüfung ersetzt werden, im Jahrgang 10 ist die mündliche Prüfung obligatorisch. Am Ende der 10. Klasse erfolgt die zentrale Prüfung.
